... on http://www.mypsace.com/septic_viiiThanks a lot to my dear friend, music lover and regular videogame victim Dr. Klahn, who spent a couple if nights to do this mix for us. I really like it, let me know what you think. This is pt. 1 of this mix, part 2 will be released in a few weeks. Regards, Stefan

The VAC sample is the one that struck me the most. The vocals seem different to anything he's tried before (but in a really good way).

brilliant compilation from what i've heard on the dj-mix so far! my favourite is the Informatik remix. i wished their whole last album sounded like this... the VAC sample sounds really different!

I like it. Seems varied enough and this might be the best Septic ever.

For those of us a little less informed, please tell us the order of the songs/artists here for part 1 of this mix!
I know it is Black Rainbows by Velvet Acid Christ that starts at ~8:40
I'm most interested in the song before Black Rainbows, it starts at ~6:20
Thanks in advance!

Hi Egaeus, and welcome to this forum. The track before VAC is Apparat (Telefon Tel Aviv Mix) in a pretty rare edit version which has only been available on Vinyl to my information. The track itself is available in a different version on Apparat's remix EP "Things to Be Frickled" (Which is hereby recommended, by the way). Glad you like the mix. Stefan

...and let me add to the Masterchief's explanations that you can listen to the original version of "Arcadia" (which is quite different but equally brilliant) here: http://www.tonspion.de/download.php?nid=241806The downloading option is disabled, but streaming still works. Hope you enjoy...

Re: The Septic 8 DJ mix is back up....
I prefer the original mix of Arcadia but the Telefon Tel Aviv mix is also brilliant, incredible production and beautiful song. The mix is STRONG, varied and addictive. The VAC track is a surprise as the new sound of Necro Facility. The great thing about the Septic series, and this last installament only reinforces this, is that there are really varied with very different moods and styles but at the same time they are cohesive at the same time.

What is the track immediately following the one with Frank Spinath singing? It has a great build-up with that guitar. Brilliant stuff.

Hey Michael! The track with Frank singing is Ghost & Writer ("Nightshift"), followed by "Sedona" by We Got This Far. Hope that helps...

Thank you! Yes that is the track. Sedona by We Got This Far. I spoke to Breda as she is promoting the hell out of this American band. I am very thrilled, been a long time since I have heard something new and interesting out of the US. I am going to watch this one like when I discovered Dismantled on MP3.com years ago..

Re: The Septic 8 DJ mix is back up....
Can anyone tell me who the last song is by? The one with the sample.."Sometimes when you look into the abyss, the abyss looks back at you." This one blew me away, although the VAC track was amazing as well. Actually, there wasn't anything on here I didn't like. great work putting this together.....thanks
